Basket Mouth announces divorce from wife after 12 years of marriage

Nigerian Comedian, Basket Mouth has announced that he and his wife have ended their 12 years marriage.

He made this announcement in a post shared via Instagram.

The comedian said they are navigating the process and will work together to take good care of their children.

Basket Mouth used the opportunity to ask for privacy for their family as they walk through the divorce process.

The two are gifted with three children, two girls and a boy.

The comedian and his entrepreneur wife, Elsie, met in 2003. At that time, Basketmouth had gone to the University of Lagos, which happens to be Elsie’s school, to promote his first big show, titled ‘Basketmouth Uncensored.’
