Bawumia hasn’t apologized for his failure

Veteran Highlife musician and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Spokesperson on Tourism and Creative Arts, Rex Omar has slammed the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for not apologizing to Ghanaians for failing the country.

This comment from Rex Omar comes a few days after NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch. During an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, Rex Omar said that Dr Bawumia who is the head of the country’s Economic Management team has not proven to be credible over the years.

Omar remarked, “When they write convoluted promises like these, how can people take them seriously? Is Bawumia going to issue diplomatic passports to creatives or dictate how other countries should accept them? Even some of our diplomats face rejection abroad.”

“You promised to build ultramodern theatres since 2016 but haven’t delivered even one. There hasn’t been an apology or an explanation for this failure,” Omar added.
