Black Sherif’s team denies court order over rent arrears
A source within Black Sherif’s management has denied reports claiming the musician has been ordered by a court to pay rent arrears.
Speaking to Class News, the source clarified that no court directive exists requiring the artiste to settle any payments.
“There is no court order instructing Black Sherif to pay any amount to anyone,” the source stated.
The denial follows the circulation of a document allegedly from the Adentan–Frafraha District Court, dated November 24, 2025.
The document suggests that Mohammed Ismail Sherif was sued by a woman described as his landlady over unpaid rent.
However, Black Sherif’s team insists the property mentioned is not his residence. “That place is not his home. It is an office and recording studio used by Road Boy Association,” the source explained.
Further clarification revealed that the property had previously been attached by the High Court due to debts owed by its owners and was reportedly auctioned in 2024.
As a result, the person named in the document is said to no longer own the property.
The source described the claims as misleading and aimed at damaging the artiste’s reputation.
The document also indicates that the matter is scheduled for court on March 3, 2026.
