Burna Boy is a shameless sellout for his Afrobeats comments – Bullgod
Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, a Ghanaian showbiz critic, has descended heavily on Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.
In a social media post sighted by Amansan Krakye of MyNewsGh.com, Shatta Wale’s former manager labelled Burna Boy as a sellout and a shame.
This comes after Burna Boy recently said in an interview that Afrobeats is about nothing and has no substance as a music genre mostly being championed by Nigerian artistes.
His controversial disclosure has led to varying views and opinions with some agreeing to his stance and others baffled by his statements.
Bullgod also called BullDog wrote in a post that “It’s always one of us that sells us out, it’s always one of us that talks down on us, It’s always one of us that looks down on us”.
He continued by saying that the enemy within is Africa’s bane of existence and quoted an African proverb “If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside cannot harm us”.
“Shame on you Burna Boy”, he ended.
