Cash made from my hit song ‘You Lied to Me’ was wholly spent on my family
Multiple award-winning singer and best vocalist, Rebbeca Akosua Acheampong popularly known by her stage name as Becca says she spent a bigger portion of the money made from her first hit song on family members.
According to the musician who said this in an interview on Angel TV, she took that decision because she wanted to make sure people around her felt good and okay irrespective of what has happened in the past.
“Well, I bought a few things, for my family members. I barely spent a lot on myself. I was always about making sure people out there are okay”, Becca said in her interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
“Aside from that, the first thing I bought as a property was my car”, she adds.
Becca received her part of the music fame and shine after releasing her hit song “You Lied to Me” which featured the ladies’ man Kwabena Kwabena.
The song gave the musician international stardom and went ahead to share a stage with American singers like Usher, Beyonce among many others.
She also received multiple awards including music video of the year and record of the year at the VGMA 2008.
