Cassie testifies against Diddy in ongoing Trial
Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is fighting the biggest legal battle of his life as his federal trial unfolds in New York.
With charges ranging from sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy to coercion and abuse, the spotlight has turned sharply on the darker corners of Diddy’s empire.
On the stand, singer Cassie Ventura — once Diddy’s partner and protégé — broke her silence with harrowing accounts of manipulation, abuse, and a life tightly controlled by the Bad Boy Records founder.
Her emotional testimony painted a disturbing picture: alleged drug-fueled sexual encounters dubbed “freak offs,” physical violence, and career blackmail all hidden behind the glitz of fame.
“I had no freedom,” Cassie reportedly told the court, describing a 10-album contract that saw only one project released — a situation she said mirrored the control Diddy exerted over every aspect of her life.
But she wasn’t the only voice in court.
Another witness, a male escort named Daniel Phillip, added a chilling layer to the narrative. He claimed to have seen Cassie in distress after one of those infamous encounters — allegedly trembling uncontrollably after Diddy physically assaulted her.
Though Diddy has pleaded not guilty, the court isn’t short on damning testimony. With more witnesses expected and weeks of proceedings still ahead, the case has become a high-stakes reckoning not just for Diddy, but for the music industry at large.
