Claims Sonnie Badu faked injury for hype borne out of ignorance
Entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has said that people who doubted Sonnie Badu’s injury are ignorant.
Sonnie Badu, before his Rhythms of Africa show in Ghana, got injured and was using crutches to support his movement.
The musician indicated that he had surgery on his toe after he slipped on a staircase in his apartment.
There were claims that the accident was made up just for hype for his event. The noise about the accident being a stunt became more potent when the artiste performed without his crutches.
But speaking on Accra-based UTV, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo indicated that people who claim Sonnie Badu faked his injury just to hype his event are speaking out of ignorance.
He is of the view that “people who said that are ignorant. Ignorance means you have no idea of the situation. However, before you make such an argument, you need to weigh the personality of the person you’re talking about and the circumstances surrounding the events.
Before Sonnie Badu’s ten-year break, he was a big artiste who filled stadiums and performed at big events in Accra and Kumasi. He is the only black African or African who has performed at BackHead. What is he using hype for? ”
