Drug addiction has crippled my acting career – Kumawood Actor cries
Kumawood Actor Mohammed Boniface popularly known as in the industry as Kompany has disclosed that his addiction to drugs affected his passion for acting
Kompany and his blind mother became stranded after their house got flooded after heavy downpour at Asuofua in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region a few months ago.
Speaking in an interview with AMBASSADOR TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Kompany explained that “I was so lucky to get some celebrities like Nana Ama McBrown who was eager to help me in the industry but I was lazy and stubborn because of my addiction into drugs. I have regretted for all the bad decisions I took at the peak of my careers and it is all because I chose friends and drugs over my career”
“It got to a point my God mother Nana Ama Mcbrown will call me for a movie shoot but I will not get time to go because I chose my friends and drugs over acting” , he lamented
Kompany added “Life has become miserable for me because my blind mother needs money for surgery and we have been stranded after our place got flooded”
“If I have the opportunity to change time and destiny, I would have grabbed all the wasted opportunities but since I don’t have that power, I have stayed away from all bad friends to focus in life”
“I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Nana Ama Mcbrown and all the industry players to forgive me because I know my actions hurt majority of them” he said.
