E-Levy is bogus – Nero X calls on Ghanaians for total rejection
Ghanaian musician, Nero X has labelled the introduction of the E-levy as bogus and pleaded for its total rejection by well-meaning citizens.
Talking to Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show, the ‘Osey’ hitmaker said there’s no progress to show for the taxes we’ve been paying.
“E-Levy is bogus excuse my words it is very bogus so we don’t want it at all in this country,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.
“They have collected a lot of taxes from us yet we don’t see anything happening,” he added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
He fumed, “I used to pay a lot of road toll when I’m driving and all those monies weren’t accounted for”.
Nero X further remarked that his dislike and outright condemnation of the E-levy has no political connotations as he’s speaking as a citizen and not a spectator.
“This is not anything political so we beg them to leave us alone to survive with the little that we have,” he revealed on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
He concluded, “What have they been able to do with the money they’ve gotten so until we see progress no more taxes should be collected”.
