Fancy Gadam breaks silence on being slapped by IGP’s Special Taskforce in Tamale

Tamale-based musician, Mujahid Ahmed Bello, known by his stage name Fancy Gadam, has denied allegations that he was slapped by officers from the IGP’s Special Taskforce in Tamale.

Information circulating on social media suggested the award-winning singer was slapped during the task force’s swoop operations in Tamale aimed at combating illicit drugs.

The claims went viral on social media with sections suggesting the popular musician could have been on the radar of the Taskforce

“There is no truth to any incident of ‘Black Maria’ slapping me. They honestly stopped the car I was in, but immediately let us go after realizing I was in the vehicle.
