Florence Obinim curses critics over plastic surgery claims with anointing oil

Florence Obinim has once again reacted to speculations surrounding her recent physical transformation, issuing a stern warning to critics and social media commentators who have accused her of undergoing plastic surgery.

In a video that has since circulated widely online sighted by MyNewsh, the wife of International God’s Way Church founder, Bishop Daniel Obinim, rejected the claims and cursed against those spreading the allegations.

“If it is true that I have undergone surgery and that is why I look like this, then may the heavens deal with me,” she said while holding anointing oil. “But if it is not true that I have had plastic surgery, as you people are spreading on social media, then may the heavens deal with you.”

Her statement escalated into a direct curse aimed at those perpetuating the rumours. “May you run into inescapable problems and face imprisonment as repercussions for all the things you keep saying about me because of my transformation,” she added.

Florence Obinim’s remarks come amid sustained online debate about her appearance, with her transformation dominating conversations across multiple platforms. While some users have framed the discussion as harmless curiosity, others have raised concerns about the tone and intensity of the scrutiny directed at her.

Ghanaian blogger and journalist Stephen Adjetey Abban has weighed in on the issue, urging the public to exercise restraint. He acknowledged that Florence Obinim’s status naturally draws attention but warned against overstepping boundaries.

“As a public figure, being the wife of one of the most controversial pastors in West Africa, her appearance naturally attracts scrutiny,” Adjetey Abban said. However, he cautioned that such attention can easily become intrusive.

“The intense focus on why she looks the way she does raises concerns. Such inquiries, often framed as curiosity, cross into personal territory,” he noted.

Adjetey Abban further pointed out that there could be multiple explanations behind Obinim’s transformation, none of which warrant public interrogation. “I think there may be underlying health, personal, or it may simply be a deliberate personal choice. And that’s where we should not cross the line by respecting her CHOICE!” he said.

He concluded by stressing that speculation adds little value to public discourse. “Either way, the speculation is unnecessary.”
