Vida Essel-LampteyGhanaian Television and radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has extended a hand of reconciliation to her former pal and musician, Mzbel on her birthday.
The controversial star and mother of two has been at loggerheads with the sensational musician since their relationship went sour, throwing banter and jabs at each other, every now and then.
However, in a short on Sunday, February 14, which also happens to be Afia’s 39th birth anniversary, she indicated the bible encourages us to forgive each other 77 x 70 times hence she had forgiven her friend for all that had ensued between them and asked her to forgive her too.
She explained in the video, which she captioned “Reconciliation” and sighted by GhanaPlus.com on her Instagram page that it’s her responsibility as a Christian to bring others to Christ to witness God’s love hence the decision to reach out to Mzbel.
“Bible said if your brother/sister offends you, forgive him/her 77 x 70 times …… for this reason my sister Mzbel, for all you have done to me, I stand on the compassion of God and forgive you, if I have also wronged you, forgive me. Let today mark the beginning of a new day in my life”.
“I have forgiven you for everything, now you are my sister I will pray for you,” she added.
