Ghana made the right choice at the polls—Medikal
Rapper, Medikal is of the view that the people of Ghana made the right choice in the 2024 elections.
Ghana went to the polls to vote for new leaders who will steer the affairs of the country for the next four years.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP), the governing political party, lost woefully in the keenly contested polls.
The governing political party lost most of their seats in Parliament to the National Democratic Congress.
Speaking in an interview with Accra-based TV3, Medikal indicated that the choice of a leader in 2024 is the best decision the people of Ghana could have taken.
He said, “I voted,” when he was asked if he cast his ballot, adding that “I think Ghana made the right choice,” when he was asked if Ghanaians made the right choice.
On whether he trusts the new government to deliver, he said, “The new government, I don’t trust them. I just feel I need to give them the benefit of the doubt because of past experiences. I believe Mahama small but now I don’t trust anyone. I have 60% believe in Mahama and I think they will help the creative arts because the people they work with are people who are well vested in the creative arts”.
