Ghanaian actor “Akpatse” dead
Celebrated Ghanaian actor William Addo, known popularly as Akpatse, has passed on.
According to reports, he passed on November 22, 2025, after battling a serious illness.
William Addo became a household name through his unforgettable performances on GTV’s Thursday Theatre and numerous other productions.
His unique style and comic brilliance captivated audiences across the country.
William Addo was a graduate of the University of Ghana School of Theatre Studies, but also earned a master’s degree in acting and directing from the University of Leeds, UK.
He was one of the leading faces in Theatre until his demise.
