Celebrated Ghanaian female rapper and songwriter, Eno Barony born Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom is of the view that people who compare Ghanaian musicians to their Nigerian colleagues do not appreciate their hard work as they are supposed to.

According to Eno Barony, artistes in the oil-rich neighboring country easily flourish in their careers simply because their population is greater than that of Ghana.

“Ghanaians like comparing us to other musicians forgetting that, comparatively, our country is smaller than Nigeria. Somebody making like 1k views in Ghana is equivalent to 500k in Nigeria considering their population. But then, they are always doing that comparison which sounds like it not appreciating about what the Ghanaian musician is doing”, she revealed in a radio interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com

She complained that all the time Ghanaians complain about why Nigerians win big at the international levels like at the Grammys but Ghanaians are unable to compete.
