Ghanaians will laugh at me if I don’t win big at the VGMA 2023
‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker, DJ Azonto has predicted that Ghanaians will laugh at him if he doesn’t win any awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2023.
He told Amansan Krakye the host “A lot of people will ridicule and make mockery of me should I go to the VGMA and go home empty handed but I know God has never shamed me”.
In an exclusive interview on Property Radio in Cape Coast, DJ Azonto was asked by the host as to how he would react if he fails to win any awards at the 24th VGMA this year.
He answered “God forbid but if it happens that I don’t win anything at the VGMA this year I think that I will become more popular and get more awards.
He added via Showbiz on Property “I think that it’s rather going to encourage me the more even though everyday I have the enthusiasm but if I go and I don’t win any award I think I’ll cry a bit.
“But jokingly as you see me bragging if I don’t win anything at the VGMA, Ghana will be exciting because people will really laugh at me,” he stated as MyNewsGh.com observed.
Charterhouse, organizers of the annual VGMAs have announced that the 24th edition will come off on Saturday, 13th May 2023, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
