Give me the money you’ll donate at my funeral while I’m still alive—Kaakyire Kwame Appiah
Legendary highlife musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has urged his loved ones to start giving him their funeral donations.
He is of the view that instead of making the donations during his funeral, they should rather give him the funds so makes good use of it while alive.
The highlife musician says he does not subscribe to making huge donations during his funeral while he was struggling while alive.
He made these remarks when he was speaking during an interview on Property FM in Cape Coast, which was monitored by MyNewsGh.com
He said, “All that I’m saying is that as humans, we need help whilst we are still alive, and so don’t wait for me to die before you come and show off at my funeral. As we speak right now, if you call your siblings or your friends that you need GHc1,000 urgently to do something, I’m sure they will give you a lot of excuses”
Adding that “don’t wait till I’m no more living before you come and make huge donations at my funeral ceremony, so now that I’m alive, give the money you’ll donate at my funeral to me right now. I can use my funeral donations to do a lot of things right now that I’m alive so the bottom line is that if we can help ourselves in any way, let’s do it because we don’t last long on this earth,” he opined.
