He told me to hand over money gifts from guests to buy electricity – Ohemaa Woyeje exposes Angel FM CEO
Renowned radio personality, Ohemaa Woyeje, has taken to Facebook to express her grievances against the CEO of Angel FM, detailing a series of alleged unfair treatments she has endured under his leadership.
In her post on Facebook, Ohemaa accused the CEO of demanding all monetary gifts from guests on her show, claiming he needed the funds to “buy electricity.” She also alleged that he would interrupt her live broadcasts, entering the studio with an intimidating presence and disrupting her work.
“He told me that any gift of money any guest that comes on my show give me should be handed over to him the CEO so he uses that to buy electricity,” she revealed.
Ohemaa further stated that the CEO went as far as deploying masked thugs to block her entry into the station’s building in what she described as an “hour-long scuffle” just this past Wednesday.
Additionally, she alleged that despite assurances from the station’s president, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, that she would be provided an office, the CEO has intentionally denied her the space. She also lamented being excluded from top-level discussions since his arrival at the station.
“He’s a dictator and threatens workers with dismissal at the least provocation. He now dictates our radio content (this is from someone who has no media background),” she wrote.
Another major concern she raised was delayed salary payments under the CEO’s leadership, stating that he fails to communicate properly about the situation. She also revealed that resource persons are no longer compensated for their work, and even their ability to self-sponsor through contact announcements has been restricted.
