Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu is now accusing the outspoken critic of plotting an escape from Nigeria.

Verydarkman, who was arrested on May 2 and released on May 6 after a wave of public outcry and protests, is being accused of planning to sneak into Ghana with help from close associates.

“His friends are trying to sneak him out of Nigeria to Ghana. From Ghana, he would run to another country. I’m calling on immigration and EFCC, please don’t let him run,” Uche Maduagwu said in a viral post.

The actor’s claims have stirred fresh debate online, with many questioning whether Verydarkman is indeed trying to skip town—or just being dragged into yet another round of controversy.

Neither Verydarkman nor his team has officially responded to the allegations, but with his name constantly in the news, the drama around him seems far from over.
