High Grade Family is the oldest and longest running fan base in Ghana

‘Where My Baby Dey’ crooner, Samini born Emmanuel Andrews Sammini has questioned the loyalty of his fan base by comparing them to other camps.

He disclosed in an open letter to his fans that ‘High Grade Family’ is the oldest and longest running fan base in Ghana but asked if they’re honest with their support.

He revealed “High grade family is the oldest and longest running fan base in Ghana but as a fan base can you be honest and tell me if you really put in your 💯 like other camps do?

The 41-year-old musician who is also the Students Representative Council (SRC) President of GIMPA, said some of his self-acclaimed fans have not even subscribed to his YouTube channel.

“You are on FB shouting but you haven’t subscribed to my YouTube channel, neither have you ever shared or liked or commented on a post to promote the brand,” he wrote as reported by MyNewsGh.com’s Amansan Krakye.

Samini received international recognition when he won the “Best African Act” at the 2006 MOBO Awards. After releasing his second self-titled studio album, Samini, he won three awards at the then 2007 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
