How many times would I tell you I’m not gay? Fashion critic Charlie Dior fumes
Fashion critic and style influencer Charlie Dior has responded to media speculation about his sexual orientation in an interview with SammyKay Media.
“You’re asking me a question based on the assumption that you think I’m gay. That’s wrong because I’m actually tired of the media doing this to me,” he said.
Charlie Dior explained that many of the questions directed at him are based on assumptions rather than facts. “The media is assuming and it’s very dangerous to assume I’m gay. All your questions are directed to like a gay and it’s wrong,” he said.
He compared his treatment to other male celebrities, adding, “You’re asking who I’m attracted to and if I will start a family with a woman.
“Would you ask someone like King Promise or Shatta Wale those questions?”
The fashion critic also addressed why he believes the speculation is unfair. “I haven’t given these media houses any reason for them to think I’m gay.
“You’ve never seen me kiss a man or grind on a man so that should not lead you to asking me if I’m gay at all,” he said.
Charlie Dior urged media outlets to avoid assumptions based on appearance or behavior. “You’re doing it based on the way I’m acting or the way I dress and that’s very ignorant.
I’m talking to all media houses, so treat me like the other male celebrities. Don’t assume my sexuality,” he emphasized.
