I am perfectly fine – 2Baba calls for calm after viral fight with wife
Veteran Nigerian artiste 2Baba has appealed to fans and critics to stop attacking his wife, Natasha, following a controversial video of the couple embroiled in a heated exchange that popped up online. In a video shared on X, the singer urged the public to de-escalate tensions and allow the matter to be resolved privately.
“This is getting out of hand. This is a dangerous situation right now. I know what fans can do. I know what people can do,” he said.
“I am perfectly okay. And this is putting Natasha at risk. It’s not fair to anybody to do this kind of thing. It’s not fair to anybody at all. So please, I need everybody to calm down and cease fire.”
2Baba continued his pleas, stressing that personal issues should not result in online hostility. “We want to resolve all these issues. People do have issues at home. But this is getting out of hand. Please, friends, family, everybody, cease fire. Please, I beg you. I beg you. I am perfectly fine.”
His appeal followed a chaotic sequence of events that began when a video circulated online showing 2Baba and Natasha in a tense physical confrontation during an Instagram Live session. The footage intensified conversations about instability within the marriage and prompted widespread reactions across social media.
The situation escalated further when two of the singer’s former management members joined a live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, where they made troubling allegations about 2Baba’s marriage.
From claims of domestic violence to accusations of business sabotage and excessive control, former manager Kaka described the matter as “a cry for help” for the celebrated artiste.
As the allegations continued, 2Baba abruptly joined the live discussion and confronted Kaka, telling him to “shut up.”
The drama deepened when another clip from the Instagram Live session with Natasha showed her urging the singer to maintain a united front publicly, saying, “Let them know we are together.” Moments later, the stream was cut, followed by a brief scene of the couple caught in a physical altercation allegedly triggered by Natasha.
