I borrowed QwikLoan for lorry fare to Accra after “Sika Aba Fie” video shoot– Kweku Darlington
Fast-rising Ghanaian Hiplife musician Emmanuel Kweku Darlington has revealed that he was too broke that, he had to borrow money from QwikLoan to transport himself back to Accra after shooting his famous music video.
“After shooting the music video of “Sika Aba Fie” we had to request for QwikLoan for us to be able to pay for transportation back to Accra. We used our last penny for the video. I was inside my room for about two weeks without food before the release of the song”, Kweku Darlington recounted his experience.
Kweku Darlington’s “Sika Aba Fie” released two years ago become a massive hit on the street across the country and went ahead to win the singer many international recognitions.
Kweku Darlington also got the opportunity to perform with other international act on bigger platforms.
The video released a year ago has seen over a million views on YouTube alone with multiple millions of streams on other music platforms.
