Kofi Nti, a known protégé of Daddy Lumba, has explained why he did not attend the late Daddy Lumba’s funeral.

According to him, he could not be part of the funeral because there is no peace in the family, and he does not want to be part of the chaos.

He says he thought the family head would have ensured that the whole family was on board before the final funeral rites would take place, but since that was not the case, he had to stay away.

“Daddy Lumba was my mentor, and you’ll recall that I joined the one-week celebration, which was peaceful. However, I couldn’t attend the funeral because I didn’t want to get caught up in the chaos. My mother even called to inform me that I should stay far away from the funeral, which is why I came to support KK Fosu bury his father,” he said in an interview.

Daddy Lumba was buried on December 13, 2025, after a series of legal battles between members of his family.

The funeral was attended by some of his family members, while others decided to stay away because they had reservations.
