‘The Glory’ hitmaker, Obaapa Christy has refused the suggestion that gospel music isn’t vibrant in the country as compared to some years ago.

Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast with Amansan Krakye, the award-winning singer said gospel music is rather going through some changes.

“Oh I don’t see it that gospel music is gradually going down in Ghana but rather it has gone through some changes over the years,” she stated.

She remarked “Right now we don’t use the old rhythms and style of singing but rather you can see that most gospel musicians are improving themselves.

“Things are changing so whatever you’re doing you should keep improving from one stage to the other just like the stages a child goes through after birth.

“So when you listen to some of my gospel songs when I started and you compare to my recent songs you’d see some differences in it,” Obaapa Christy opined as MyNewsGh.com observed.
