I don’t respond to those who naively say that I’m a lazy artiste

Award-winning reggae-dancehall singer, J.Derobie has refuted the perception that he has become a lazy artiste after he was signed by Mr. Eazi’s emPaWa record label.
He said on Kastle FM based in Cape Coast “Me I don’t respond when people comment on social media that I am a lazy artiste but there are times I just tell them I have heard their concerns”.
In an interview on the Kastle Drive Show, the ‘Ato Me So’ crooner said those who label him as a lazy artiste and compare him with his fellow label mate, Joeboy, are naive.
He continued “Because they don’t know like they are more of consumers so they don’t know what goes into music processing so they just want the finished product.
“The things that go into it before the music comes out is not their concern, they think you just record the song and release it so that’s all it takes,” he clarified on the show.
“They think it’s that easy but a lot of work goes into releasing of music so they don’t have much info into such things so I don’t take what they say personal,” J.Derobie told Amansan Krakye.
