I don’t speak to ghosts – Diana Hamilton

Award-winning Ghanaian Gospel artiste,  Diana Hamilton has dismissed rumours suggesting that she claimed to speak with ghosts, describing the allegation as a complete misinterpretation of her comments during an interview.

Speaking on Angel FM in Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Hamilton explained that the controversy stemmed from a personality-related discussion. According to her, the interviewer had asked her to describe the kind of personality she possesses.

“I explained that I am a sanguine,” she said, referring to the classical temperament often associated with being lively, sociable, and expressive. “A sanguine is the life of the party, someone who brings joy and happiness wherever they go.”

She clarified that her comment was simply meant to highlight her ability to interact freely with different kinds of people, including individuals who may be quiet or reserved.

“In other words, it means I can talk to anybody, even quiet people,” she explained.

Hamilton added that she jokingly described herself as a “helpless sanguine,” emphasising her natural tendency to bring enthusiasm and positive energy into calm or subdued environments.

The award-winning musician stressed that at no point did she claim to communicate with ghosts, noting that her remarks were taken out of context and distorted into something entirely different.
