I put in the work but I’m not shown love
Dancehall Artiste Stonebwoy has said that although he works so hard in the music industry people do not show him love.
The musician and his team are currently in France with his team working to promote his brand and give him the needed global recognition.
In a video which he shared on social media, he indicated that for an artiste who is not affiliated with any record label make great strides, he needs to be shown love but all he has seen in the music industry is hate.
He noted that the Ghanaian people hate people who work hard but give their support to others who live for the hype.
“They don’t love us but if God loves us nothing else matters. It’s a full house in Paris by an independent artiste and money from my pocket. They have to know that it’s not the hype, it bores me because the hype is huge but the works do not commensurate. Those of us who do the work to they don’t show us love,” he said.
