I still bought her an iPhone after she cheated – Man recounts betrayal
A young man has shared an emotional account of betrayal and heartbreak during an appearance on Lawson TV, revealing how he continued to support his girlfriend even after discovering she had been unfaithful.
Narrating his ordeal on live television monitored by MyNewsGh.com, he disclosed that suspicions about his girlfriend’s behaviour led him to confront the alleged third party directly.
Describing the moment he sought confirmation, he said, “I called the guy, and he verified that he was the one my girlfriend was cheating on me with.”
According to him, the situation became even more painful after he discovered the nature of their communication.
Detailing what he found, he explained, “She was even sending the guy videos, and the guy was equally complimenting her. I was kept in the dark. I did not know whether the videos being sent were her nudes or not.”
He said attempts to get clarity from his girlfriend proved futile.
Expressing his frustration, he added, “Even if I asked her, she would lie and could not tell me the truth.”
The man further revealed that a separate conversation later exposed more troubling details about her actions.
Recounting how the truth surfaced, he stated, “One time, my friend, during a conversation, made her open up that she travelled to Sunyani to sleep with a guy so she could get a new phone. The other guy was thinking she was no longer in a relationship.”
Despite the revelation, he admitted that he still made a significant gesture toward her shortly after she returned.
Highlighting the extent of his emotional attachment, he said, “Upon her return, I bought her an iPhone 7 Plus.”
