Popular Ghanaian high-life, afrobeats singer-songwriter, Dennis Nana Dwamena, Kidi has promised to make a strong come back following his failure to cling to the coveted 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Award(VGMA) Artiste of the Year award.
The golden boy album composer was widely tipped by industry players for the ultimate award on the VGMA night but lost it her main contender and celebrated gospel musician, Ms Diana Hamilton.
He however, grabbed four awards on the night including Best Highlife Song , Best Afrobeat Song, Best Afrobeat Artiste and EP of the Year.
Speaking in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com hours after the event held at the Accra Conference Center on June 27, Kidi wrote, “I’ll be back Small traffic I go reach soon”.
He accompanied the post with a picture taken at day-2 of the VGMA’s in Accra.
