I would have snubbed IGP’s meeting with celebs even if I was invited
Prolific Hip Hop artiste, E.L has revealed on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that he won’t have attended the meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) even if he was invited.
Recently, there was a meeting between players within the creative arts industry and the IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare at the Police Headquarters in Accra but E.L was absent.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye, E.L has revealed that he wasn’t around to attend but even if he was invited, he won’t have honoured the meeting with the IGP.
“I wasn’t in town to be part of the IGP’s meeting that’s why I was absent,” he remarked on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
He revealed “But even if I were to be in town I’m not sure I would have attended the meeting.
“Because I know the boys have said all that needs to be said so there’s no need for me to attend,” he added.
In a Graphic Showbiz report after the meeting, some celebrities made it known to the police hierarchy that, per their status, they should enjoy some privileges but COP Kofi Boakye disagreed.
