If you feature Wizkid, nobody go now you – Geh Geh speaks on struggling artists
Self-proclaimed financial expert and relationship coach, Geh Geh, has stirred conversation online with bold claims about why upcoming artists struggle to rise after featuring Nigerian superstar Wizkid.
Speaking in a viral clip, Geh Geh argued that Wizkid’s immense fame often overshadows young talents, leaving them unnoticed even on their own songs.
“How many upcoming artists wey don feature Wizkid wey blow?” he asked.
“People dey talk say if them feature Wizkid for song, the song no dey blow or the artist no dey blow. No be because Wizkid no get talent but because Wizkid glory too get talent. Wizkid glory dey outshine the upcoming artists.”
He stressed that the issue wasn’t Wizkid’s fault, but rather the overwhelming influence of his brand:
“If you feature Wizkid for song, nobody go even know say you dey the song. Na Wizkid go carry all the glory…if you feature Wizkid for song you no go fit blow.”
According to Geh Geh, up-and-coming acts should rethink collaborations with the Grammy-winning star.
“Upcoming artist no suppose dey feature Wizkid for song. Nobody go know you—na Wizkid go carry all the glory,” he concluded.
