I’ll only accept to be a teacher if it won’t curtail my passion for comedy
Ghanaian stand-up comedian, Ajeezay has disclosed on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that he’s ready to accept an offer from Ghana Education Service (GES) to teach science.
“If GES likes what I’m doing and wants to appoint me as a teacher why not it’s cool no problem if the deal is good and everything is on point,” he remarked.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye, Ajeezay who had First Class from the University of Cape Coast said he wants to help students to have a better understanding of science topics.
He continued “My life has always been that I have this desire to always help people that is why I have been doing this science lessons”.
The ‘Jerusalem Soup’ hitmaker, born Nathaniel Mensah, however, stated that he will only accept an offer from GES if it won’t curtail his passion for what he’s been doing as a comedian.
“But they can’t take me away from my comedy and what I do but if they say come and teach with better conditions of service why not,” he told the host.
Ajeezay has recently been teaching science topics on YouTube to make the learning of the subject less frustrating for some students who find it difficult to understand some of the concepts.
