I’ll prefer to feature Jay Z than a local champion
Kologo Music star King Ayisoba has indicated that if he will feature anyone going forward in his music career, he is looking at someone with International recognition.
According to him, he’s moved past local champions and therefore now looks to tap into the European market where he is more known.
The Upper East region’s biggest music export made this known when he spoke in an interview with Accra-based TV3.
He said ” if you say I should choose, I will choose someone who will be beneficial to me. I will choose someone like Jay Z.
Adding that “if I perform in Europe I don’t meet Ghanaian hiplife, I meet Beyonce before, I meet Stevy Wonder and I’ve performed on the same stage with Snoop Dog. So if I will feature somebody, I will feature somebody who is world known and not local known”.
He indicated that over the years he has featured a number of hiplife artistes including Kwabena Kwabena, Samini but those songs could not make an impact and therefore he had to advise himself.
King Ayisoba is one of Ghana’s biggest music exports who has performed on several stages across the world. He is known for his kologo music which has been his trademark since he set out in the music industry and that sets him at par with colleagues.
