I’ll rather cut off my thumbs than vote in 2024- Kumawood Actor
Popular Kumawood actor, Nana Yeboah says he will rather cut off his thumbs than join a long queue to vote in the coming December 7, 2024, general elections.
Nana Yeboah expressed his disappointment in President Akufo-Addo’s led administration for passing the controversial Electronic Levy (E-Levy).
Speaking in an interview with AMBASSADOR TV hosted by Osei Kwadwo and monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Nana Yeboah explained that “After several years of voting, both the current government and the previous governments have failed to develop Ghana and to fulfill their numerous promises”
According to Nana Yeboah, “I have withdrawn all my money in my Mobile Money wallet and after that, I deactivated my MOMO account due to the passage of the E-Levy”
“Government has failed to employ me but this same government wants to tax me if someone wants to dash me money or pay me through Mobile Money. God will not deal leniently with President Nana Akufo-Addo and his appointees for robbing poor Ghanaians” Nana Yeboah cursed
“I’m not against Ghana’s development because we are want the betterment of this country but our leaders are the cause of all the problems Ghanaians are facing. I went to Jubilee House just recently and I saw number of vehicles deteriorating but every year government buys brand new cars just to waste taxpayers’ money”, he stressed
Nana Yeboah when asked if he will vote in 2024 said “I will rather cut off my hands than to vote in 2024 general elections. Even if it doesn’t go the way I want it then I will fall sick before the elections”.
