I’ll still twerk for money even though I am now a Muslim – Akuapem Poloo
Sensational Ghanaian actor, Akuapem Poloo says she will still do her own thing by twerking even after converting becoming a Muslim
The actress, who now wants to be known as Haniya Rosemond Alade Brown claimed that she has so far not found any verse or chapter in the Quran that frowns on twerking, hence nothing, is going to stop her from that, especially when she is filled with the Holy Ghost.
“In the Quran, I have never seen any verse in it that says twerking is a sin; even in the Bible, even David and co, when they are happy, they danced till they were naked”, she insisted.
“Those women in the Bible, didn’t they dance with their waist and buttocks? In the Islamic religion, there are traditional dances, they use their body. So I don’t think it’s a sin to twerk, but it’s a sin to expose your body. But if I’m dancing, I might dance till the Holy Ghost enters me and I may twerk”, actress Rosemond Brown said.
In her interview, the actress revealed that all the twerking she did were for money and not for fun.
