I’ll watch ‘pono’ instead of watching Black Stars- Kumchacha fumes
In a recent interview on Angel FM, Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, the founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, once again showcased his unique sense of humour and maverick personality.
The man of God did not hold back as he commented on the recent struggles of Ghana’s national football team, the Black Stars.
Highlighting the team’s disappointing performance in the AFCON qualifiers, where they managed to earn just three points out of a possible eighteen, Prophet Kumchacha expressed his frustration in a characteristically humorous manner.
“It’s not healthy to be watching games involving Ghana any longer,” he declared, pointing out the stress and disappointment that fans have endured.
In a statement that has since gone viral, Prophet Kumchacha suggested that it would be better to watch adult movies, known locally as “pono,” than to waste time watching the Black Stars play.
“According to him, it’s better to watch pono than waste his time watching a Black Stars game which would surely give him high blood pressure and possible heart attack,” he said, eliciting laughter from the audience.
The Black Stars, once a dominant force in African football, have faced a series of challenges in recent years.
Their recent performance in the AFCON qualifiers has been particularly disappointing, leaving fans and analysts questioning the team’s future.
The team’s inability to secure victories and their lacklustre performance have been a source of frustration for many Ghanaians who hold high expectations for their national team.
