I’m fed up with working in Kumawood – Oboy Siki
Popular Kumawood Actor, Nana Ofori Agyamang known on the screens as Oboy Siki says he is fed up working with the movie industry in the Ashanti Region specifically Kumasi because they are not able to meet his demands.
The actor claims that the movie producers in the region do not have the money to pay for his service.
“Currently, I have refused to work for any movie production in the Ashanti Region. I am fed up with them. The amount they pay is too small for me. Any production that calls me to work with is not able to pay the money I charge.” Oboy Siki told Kumasi-based Sikka FM in an interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
According to the controversial actor who is also a social commentator, unlike those in the Kumawood, movie producers in Accra are always willing to pay any amount he charges them therefore his decision to work for them henceforth.
“But the situation is not the same in Accra. They are able to pay any amount I charge. Some of them even give me a flight ticket both in and out plus my charges .” Oboy Siki revealed.
The ace actor also emphasized that movie producers in Accra understand the job more than those in Kumawood.
