In Africa Vybez Kartel is an angel in our eyes—Shatta Wale
Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale says Vybez Kartel, who was recently released from prison, is like an angel in the eyes of Africans.
He says the love Vybez Cartel has on the streets of Africa is unimaginable, and he is pleased to have been able to share the same stage with him.
Shatta Wale made this known while performing at the Freedom Street concert in Jamaica on December 31, 2024.
“I am coming all the way from Africa to support this man. This man is like an angel in Africa. Vybez In flesh and soul, love you so much, Daddy.
He continued “Before I leave here I just want to tell you that we Africans love Jamaicans and we support Jamaican music so everywhere you are know that Ghana supports Jamaican music”.
Shatta Wale who got emotional during the performance had to kneel and thank Vybez Kartel for the opportunity to perform on the same stage with him.
“Thank you so much, I’ve never performed in Jamaica before this is my first time. I’ve always wished to perform with you on stage God bless you, Jamaica I love you,” he said.
Vybez Kartel who responded to Shatta Wale mentioned that the culture of the people of Jamaica is loved by people around the world and described Shatta Wale as the King of Dancehall in Africa.
