It was not staged - Bulldog speaks on VGMA clash between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Entertainment pundit Bulldog has dismissed claims that the VGMA incident involving Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was staged for publicity.

When asked directly whether the confrontation was planned, he responded firmly, “It wasn’t staged.”

According to him, the situation was unfortunate rather than orchestrated.

“I think it was an unfortunate situation,” he said on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh.

Bulldog explained that Shatta Wale was moving through the venue at the time for personal reasons and not necessarily to disrupt proceedings.

“At the time, I think he was looking for the washroom or heading to see his dad. His father was seated in front and wanted him to meet a dignitary,” he said.

He noted that Shatta Wale does not move quietly at events.

“When Shatta moves, he moves with a storm. He doesn’t sneak. He moves with his team,” he explained.

Bulldog suggested that tensions escalated quickly and reactions from individuals around the stage may have contributed to the chaos.

“If you watch the video carefully, Stonebwoy himself was not jittery at first. It became chaotic when things started going haywire,” he said.

He also revealed something many fans may not know.

“They are cousins,” Bulldog said. “On their mother’s side. They relate.”

Despite the incident, he believes both camps have moved on.

“We’ve moved from that stage,” he added.
