It’s God who decided to disgrace you with your removal as IGP—Shatta Wale to Dampare
Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale believes that the removal of George Akuffo Dampare by John Dramani Mahama is divine.
He sees it as a punishment from God for how the former Inspector General of Police treated him.
Shatta Wale explains that the former IGP only became aware of his actions on social media, but not what others, such as prophets, did to him on the same platforms, which he describes as a concern.
“God is disgracing all of you,” he said in a livestream on social media.
Adding that “the former IGP only saw what I posted, but those of the prophets who were doing bad things to me, he never saw them.”
It will be remembered that Shatta Wale was arrested in 2021 over what the police described as publishing false news and causing fear and panic when the musician, in a Facebook post, indicated that his life was under attack.
“He has been arrested to assist the police in investigations for his alleged involvement in the creation and circulation of information intended to cause fear and panic,” a police statement said when he was arrested.
The authorities warned that anyone found to be sharing false information that “capable of disturbing the peace of the country” would be prosecuted.
