It’s risky for a married female artiste to be managed by another man

Mrs Esther Asiedu known in the creative industry as Piesie Esther, a renowned gospel musician has shared her experience in having her husband as her manager.

“In a certain way having my husband as my manager helps me a lot in a way that for him he’s the one that I’m living my life with,” she told Amansan Krakye monitored by MyNewsGh.com

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM in an interview, Piesie Esther said being managed by another man who’s not your husband as a female artiste can be very risky.

She remarked “It is such that getting someone who understands the nature of my work helps a lot because the schedule of my work demands that I go to the studio to record in the evening.

“You can be in the studio up to 2am before coming home and if you have a male manager who is not your husband that can make your husband have different thoughts about your whereabouts,” she added.

She explained “It is risky sometimes going up and down with another man in the night who is not your husband but having your husband as your manager can help to calm such situations.

“Sometimes you need to change over and wear another dress after a show and I do that in the vehicle in the presence of my husband because I know he’s the one I’m married to,” Piesie Esther ended.
