It’s time for more young artistes to take over in the Ghana music scene

Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA)  winner, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah popularly known as Yaw Tog has stated that he’s in his lane and not competing with anyone.

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM in a one-on-one interview, Yaw Tog revealed that the young artistes in Ghana are taking over in the music industry as compared to previously.

“I will say that I’m okay and I feel like I’m not in a race with anyone so I know that I’m doing my own thing without focusing on what others are doing,” he remarked sighted by MyNewsGh.com

“The lane that I find myself I’m trying to get to the top and I don’t have competition with anyone so I’m just doing my thing,” he continued on the Kastle Entertainment Show.

He added “Through the pain and through the joy and everything I’m facing them and trying to do my thing so I’m okay with it and I’m working on myself.

“It’s the time of we the young ones and previously it used to be the time of the elderly people but right now we’re also here and we’re here to take over,” Yaw Tog told Amansan Krakye the host.
