It’s time to give Ghana’s film industry global recognition

Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, Kafui Danku has assured the film industry in Ghana of creating a lasting impact to help drive growth, innovation and give global recognition to the industry.

“This new chapter is an opportunity to uplift, empower, and create a lasting impact in Ghana’s film and media industry. I look forward to collaborating with all stakeholders to drive growth, innovation, and global recognition for our industry.”

She explains that this opportunity calls for a concerted effort at ensuring the needed growth is achieved.

In a post shared via social media, she thanked the president for the confidence reposed in her, promising to work to ensure his vision for the industry is realized.

To the Honorable Minister and entire team at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Creative Arts, your leadership and vision for the sector so far have been truly inspiring, and I am committed to working with you to support your efforts.”
