I’ve spent years in the Mental Hospital
Angel Gyedu of TV3 Mentor Season 4 fame has said that for the past ten years, she always spends some months at the mental hospital.
According to her, life has dealt a great deal with her after her shine at mentor that she has been unable to pursue her career in music.
In an interview that has since gone viral, the lady with a silky voice that caught the eye of many Ghanaians said even though she is supposed to be on medication, she does not have the money to do that.
Apart from not having money for medication, she also had not eaten the whole day when the reporter met her and decided to interview her.
“Today I’ve not eaten because I don’t have money. Today I’ve not taken my drugs because I need to eat before I can take the drugs. I will be the happiest person on earth if I get food to eat. That has been my biggest headache all my life because I have to take my drugs. If I don’t take it, I can’t sleep.”
Angel said what saddens her is the fact that her father has been arrested and is rotting in jail whiles life is dealing badly with her.
The melodious singer said her drugs cost her GHC 400 every month but she has to sometimes forgo it because she does not have the cash to foot the bills and therefore pleaded with the general public to come to her aid.
It could be remembered that Gospel Artiste, Angel Gyedu of TV3 Mentor Season 4 fame, who was spotted in Lagos, Nigeria, with memory loss and suffering from a mental condition.
Well-meaning Nigerians tried to get info from her and they were able to get her name and YouTube Channel name till efforts were made to reach her family.
