Jim Jones backs Hip-Hop’s White House visits, dismisses criticism

Rapper Jim Jones has weighed in on the ongoing debate over hip-hop artists attending White House events, defending those who have chosen to associate with former President Donald Trump.

In a recent interview, Jones emphasized that regardless of political views, the office of the President deserves a level of respect.

“At the end of the day, the president is still the president,”* Jones stated. *”We’ve got to show that much respect to the leader of the country.”

His comments come in response to criticism aimed at rappers like Snoop Dogg, Nelly, and others who have performed or engaged with Trump’s events.
