Join Asakaa trend else you’ll fade out
Entertainment Pundit Nana Frimpong Ziega has advised popular Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie born Michael Owusu Addo to join Kumerica’s Asakaa trend else he will fade out from the industry.
Asakaa has become a music genre after it was introduced by the Kumericans, a group of young artistes from the Ashanti Regional Capital of Kumasi.
Nana Frimpong Ziega commenting on Sarkodie’s No Pressure album on Kumasi-based Angel Fm Entertainment show hosted by Ike De Unpredictable monitored by MyNewsGh.com quizzed the Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie as to why he failed to add Asakaa genre to his No Pressure album.
According to Nana Frimpong Ziega “If Sarkodie decides to use his old trend to battle Kumerica’s Asakaa trend, he will have a lot of work to do when Yaw Tog complete Senior High School”
“Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba and others are still relevant in the music industry because they always learn to follow every trend and music genre” Ziega explained.
“In the middle of two thousand, a revolution came and Daddy Lumba was so smart to join that resolution had it not been that Ofori Amponsah and others would have ended his career”
Nana Frimpong Ziega added “If you are an artiste and you fail to join what is on the board and trending, you will be faded”
“I was expecting Sarkodie to do the drill music because whether he likes it or not, the Asakaa music genre has come to stay”.
