Kissing Priest saga: Avoid acts that will bring God’s name into disrepute
Ghanaian Gospel award nominee, AkuBless known in real life as Harriet Akua Agyeiwaa has expressed her opinion about the issue involving the priest in the infamous ‘Holy Kissing’ saga.
“The Bible says we have permission to do all things but not all the things are worth doing,” AkuBless said in an interview.
“I don’t know the mindset behind the kissing priest saga and why he did that so I won’t be able to say much about it,” she disclosed to Amansan Krakye.
Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, AkuBless who is based in London advised ‘men of God’ to avoid certain acts that will bring confusion and impediments within the church members.
She added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast “However, the things that when you do that will bring impediments should be avoided so that it doesn’t bring confusion in the church for us to miss the grace of God”.
Recently, Rev. Fr. Baltharzar Obeng Larbi, the Anglican priest at the center of the kissing saga that happened at the St. Monica’s College of Education, has broken his silence on the matter.
The Anglican priest who is the chaplain and lawyer of the school, has admitted that his conduct was wrong and has since asked for forgiveness from his church and the students.
