Kuami Eugene loses father

Ghanaian Musician and 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) winner, Eugene Kwame Marfo,popularly called Kuami Eugene has announced the passing of his father, Mr Alex Marfo.
The multiple award winner made the announcement in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Monday, July 24.
Sharing the news the ‘Dollar On You‘ hitmaker wrote “It’s been difficult times for myself and my family. We’ve said goodbye to a loved one too soon.
I miss you so much already Dad. Rest well until we meet again 💔”
Kuami Eugene flaunt biological father
It could be recalled the artiste first flaunt his father, Mr Marfo in a social media post on June 20, 2021 to celebrate him on Fathers’ Day.
This was after some unknown men claimed they were the biological fathers of the celebrated musician.
The picture sighted by GhanaPlus.com on the Instagram page of the musician had Mr Marfo who shares some physical resemblance with the multiple award winner leading a band in a live performance.
Eulogizing him as part of the Father’s Day celebration, the Angela hit maker revealed his father, a budding musician years ago discourage him from toeing the same path because he could not make it in the sector.
He described him as a legend and the original rockstar adding everything he had achieved belongs to him and his father.
Kuame Eugene wrote on his IG;
“Happy Father’s Day To The Legend Mr Alex Marfo. I get why you didn’t want me to do music. Because you didn’t make it in that area, there was a need to protect me from going to that area too. Buh thank God learning from you helped me correct all the mistakes you made . Live long Daddy, for all I have and will ever achieve is for both of Us. The Original RockStar 🤴🏾!!!!!”
