Kweku Flick explains departure from label, outlines vision as entrepreneur
Ghanaian musician Kweku Flick born Andy Osei Sarfo has explained that his decision to leave his former label was a deliberate step towards fulfilling a long-term personal goal of becoming a business leader by 2025.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM in Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the rapper said although he appreciated the support he received while working with the label, he felt the time had come to pursue a broader vision beyond music.
“I left my label because I promised myself that by the year 2025 I would be a CEO of my own business, even though I was impressed with the help they gave me,” Kweku Flick said.
According to him, the move was driven by a desire to create opportunities for others, particularly young talents who lack industry support.
“It was time for me to help people. That is why I ventured into business, and I want to build a team that will help upcoming artists,” he stated.
Kweku Flick also revealed that his business interests extend beyond the creative industry, noting that he has begun investing in sports development.
“I even have football players that I am investing in,” he added.
The musician confirmed that he currently heads multiple ventures, combining entrepreneurship with artist development.
“I am the CEO of Pointed Eyes Company and also the CEO of a record label called Elevation Way,” he said.
